When using this board with RIOT, set the BOARD variable to derfmega128 in your Makefile. If you follow the standard RIOT project structure, your Makefile should look like this:

# name of your application
APPLICATION = hello-world

# Change this to your board if you want to build for a different board
BOARD ?= derfmega128

# This has to be the absolute path to the RIOT base directory:
RIOTBASE ?= $(CURDIR)/RIOT

Support for deRFmega128 modules produced by Dresden Elektronik

Overview

deRFmega128 is a family of modules produced by Dresden Elektronik. deRFmega128 modules are based on ATmega128rfa1, MCUs. It include 16MHz main and 32K RTC crystalls and (depending on module type) integrated or not integrated 2.4GHz antenna.

These modules are available in different variants:

deRFmega128-22M00 with integrated antenna,
deRFmega128-22M10 without integrated antenna.
deRFmega128-22A00 with connectors and integrated antenna,
deRFmega128-22A02 with connectors, but without integrated antenna.
deRFmega128-22C00 solderable with integrated antenna,
deRFmega128-22C02 solderable without integrated antenna.
